Advance Appointments

You can book appointments up to 4 weeks in advance.  You will have a choice of clinicians.

Non Urgent Appointments

These appointments will usually be offered within next 2 working days.  These appointments are for the patients who need to see the doctor soon.  Their case is not urgent for the same day but cannot wait for the next advance appointment either.  We will try our best to offer you, your usual doctor but this is not always possible.

Urgent Appointments

If your problem cannot wait please telephone between 08.00 am till 13:00 you should be offered an appointment or telephone consultation on the same day.  This is likely to be with next available doctor or practice nurse at the next available time.  Please facilitate the receptionist to help you.

Walk- In-clinic( Doctor/Nurse Led)

We operate Walk-In-Clinic during Monday to Friday 10:30 to 12:00. The doctor or nurse will see the patients. This is strictly by first come first served. There will be potential long waiting time to see the patients. Please be patient!

Home Visits

Patients are requested, where possible, to telephone before 10:00 if a home visit is required that day.

We would request that, apart from the genuinely housebound, all other patients attend the surgery rather than request a home visit because of the extra time home visiting takes. On average four to five patients can be seen in surgery in the time it takes to do a single house call. In addition, the care that can be offered due to the lack of adequate lighting, examination facilities and equipment means that you may not receive as good a service as the doctor may be able to offer if you came to the surgery.

Please note that the doctor may telephone you rather than visit you if this is medically appropriate. Ultimately it is the doctors right to decide whether or not a visit is appropriate for a particular set of circumstances.

Telephone Consultations

If you think your problem can be dealt with via a telephone consultation with doctor or nurse please use the above facilities.

This surgery provides the above facility during 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday. During the times stated the reception staff will make a note of your contact details and hand them over to the doctor or nurse who will then get in contact with you during the surgery hours.

Please note that depending on the nature of the query it may be possible for the reception staff to assist the patient.  Please help them to facilitate your request.

All the calls are recorded for monitoring and staff training purposes but they are held in the strictest confidence.
